Faculty Development Seminar: Negotiation Series

Office for Women's Careers presents Negotiation Boot Camp

Effective negotiation skills are crucial for your career (e.g. academic promotion, transitioning to a new position, authorship decisions, salary/resource requests) and in your everyday life as well, but many women do not feel confident in their negotiation abilities. This Office for Women's Careers workshop will help you learn the basics of negotiation and will demonstrate how you can apply them to become a more confident negotiator moving forward.

Facilitators include:
Robert C. Bordone, JD, Thaddeus R. Beal Clinical Professor of Law, Harvard
   Law School and Director, Harvard Negotiation and Mediation Clinic
Ann L. Prestipino, MPH, Senior Vice President for Surgical, Anesthesia,
   Emergency Services and Clinical Business Development, MGH and MGPO
and other invited MGH senior leadership
