Dr. Brown is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Program in Membrane Biology at MGH. He also serves as the Associate Director of the MGH Center for Systems Biology. Dr. Brown is a cell biologist/physiologist who specializes in the use of state-of-the art imaging techniques to follow and dissect physiologically-relevant membrane protein trafficking events in epithelial and non-epithelial cells. He is also a member of the MGH Executive Committee on Research (ECOR) and serves as Chair of the MGH Research Council. Dr. Brown joined the MGH in 1986 as an Assistant Professor. He has a long standing interest in mentoring and has been associated with the Office for Research Career Development since its inception and is deeply committed to advancing the interests of our research community.

Dr. Goldberg is a Professor of Medicine and Microbiology and Immunobiology at HMS, Director of Research Program Development in the Department of Medicine (DOM), Director of Research in the Division of Infectious Diseases at MGH, Associate Program Director for Research for the Partners Combined Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program, and Director of the NIH-funded Harvard-wide adult training program in Infectious Disease and Basic Microbiological Mechanisms. She has a strong track record of providing career development guidance to post doctoral fellows and other trainees. In the DOM, she launched a career development initiative designed to provide guidance and community for junior faculty and senior trainees on career advancement, specifically on strategies for achieving independent R level funding.

Dr. Miller is the Chief of the Neuroendocrine Unit, Professor of Medicine at HMS, the Laurie and Mason Tenaglia MGH Research Scholar, Co-Director of the MGH Clinical Research Education Center for the Division of Clinical Research, Principal Investigator of the MGH Endocrine Division Training Grant, Director of the Neuroendocrine and Pituitary Tumor Clinical Center, Director of Mentoring Initiatives for the Department of Medicine at MGH and a practicing endocrinologist. She has a sustained record of independent NIH funding on the effects of neuroendocrine dysregulation throughout the weight spectrum and has published more than 180 original peer-reviewed manuscripts. She was named a Claflin Distinguished Scholar in 1999 and received the A. Clifford Barger Award for Excellence in Mentoring by HMS in 2015.
