2. Negotiation Essentials on Oct 30-
    Faculty Development Seminar: Negotiation Series
    Sponsored by the Center for Faculty Development

This interactive workshop for faculty will focus on the structure of negotiation by reviewing a systematic approach on preparing to negotiate. A case study example will be used to guide the participants through this process. This session will help you understand the barriers and strategies to successful negotiations.

Amy can meet with individuals or small groups who share funding goals. Meetings take place in the Center for Faculty Development office in Bulfinch.

2. CALL FOR APPLICATIONS! NPA 2020 Annual Conference Travel Awards and Childcare
    Awards due Oct 7-

    Sponsored by National Postdoctoral Association

The National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) is pleased to offer travel awards for postdoctoral scholars to attend the 18th NPA Annual Conference, which will be held in San Diego, CA, March 27 - 29, 2020. The awards will first cover registration and lodging, and then travel expenses up to the limit of the $1,000 award.

The NPA is also offering childcare support awards for postdoctoral scholars to attend the Annual Conference. The awards will be used to cover childcare expenses while attending the Annual Conference up to the limit of the $500 award.
