1. MGH Graduate Student Lunch Seminar on March 21 -
    Graduate Student Division Communication Series

Come support your fellow graduate students, GSD Travel Award October 2017 - March 2018 winners, who will present on their research. Come and mingle with your fellow graduate students and enjoy free lunch!

3. How To Identify Funding Opportunities using COS PIVOT on Apr 12 -
    Graduate Student Division Seminar: Communication Series

Are you a graduate student interested in finding new external funding opportunities for your research? Community of Science (COS) Pivot is a database of funding announcements from government, commercial and international sponsors.

At this seminar you will learn how to:
    •  Find grant opportunities to support your research
    •  Find awards, scholarships, and travel support opportunities for you
    •  Set up COS Funding Alert for weekly, individualized notifications based on your needs/interests
    •  Learn how to describe your research interest in the context of funding opportunities

1. LAST CALL! Call for Applications: MGH Graduate Student Division Travel Awards May to October 2018 due Mar 16-
    Sponsored by the MGH Graduate Student Division

Recognizing that one of the obstacles to career advancement is the challenge of traveling while in graduate school and doing research, the MGH Graduate Student Division within the CFD's Office for Research Career Development established the GSD Travel Awards to help you travel.

This award will support travel to an academic/society meeting related to his/her academic advancement possible. The award is open to PhD graduate students who are currently doing research at MGH and who have plans to attend a professional meeting between May and October 2018. Funding is intended to help defray registration, transportation and accommodation costs for the students while traveling only. Winners will present at an MGH student seminar.

Are you interested in saving on your monthly T-Pass?

The MGH Graduate Student Division (GSD) is offering savings on the Monthly LinkPass to support scholarly activities of PhD graduate students who are currently doing research at MGH. The T-Pass Savings is a lottery program for a limited number of non-employee PhD students at MGH.
