1. Overview of Career Opportunities in the Life Science Sector on Oct 25 -
    Graduate Student Division Career Advancement Series

Are you interested in exploring your future career opportunities? This seminar will focus on career opportunities available to individuals with advanced degrees and provides an overview of the skills needed to excel in each type of role.

At this seminar you will learn about:
    •  Research and non-research career paths such as consulting, product development, etc.
    •  Numerous opportunities for you in non-profit and for-profit organizations
    •  Transferable skills, their importance and how to highlight them for specific roles

    Sponsored by the MGH Graduate Student Division

Are you interested in saving on your monthly T-Pass? The MGH Graduate Student Division (GSD) is offering savings on the Monthly LinkPass to support scholarly activities of PhD graduate students who are currently doing research at MGH. The T-Pass Savings is a lottery program for a limited number of non-employee PhD students at MGH.

2. GSD Graduate Student Committee Meeting on Oct 12-

The Graduate Student Division, with the support of the Center for Faculty Development and Office for Research Career Development, offers educational seminars, networking and social events specifically tailored for graduate students. All MGH graduate students can join the GSD Committee and help us to:

    •  Plan upcoming events
    •  Share your ideas for future events and initiatives
    •  Embrace the MGH graduate student community

3. "GSD Select" - Paper of the month-
    Presented by the MGH Graduate Student Division

GSD Select is a collection of original research papers published by graduate students with their MGH mentor. Each month, all papers submitted to the GSD, and selected as "paper of the month" will be highlighted on the GSD Select web page and will be entered into the “paper of the year” contest.

Have you published a paper with your MGH mentor recently? If so, send us the reference and we will showcase it on the GSD Website as one of the papers of the month.

All papers of the month will be entered into the “paper of the year” contest with a chance to win a $250 prize!
