BIDMC, Harvard FAS, Joslin, and MGH Postdoc Association along with Harvard OCS and the HILS

A workshop for science-trained graduate students, post-graduates and practicing research scientists. The “myths” about effective communication often leave young scientists uncertain about how to advance their careers and advocate for their abilities and their projects. In this workshop, Dr. Fiske examines some of the science of persuasion, and the underlying neuroscience that explains why people receive some forms of communication well and react negatively to other forms and styles.
