1. Managing Your Lab in the Electronic Age on Mar 14-
    Faculty Development Seminar: Management Series

Are you considering transitioning your lab to an electronic lab notebook?

This program will discuss how the management of a research program evolves with the use of an electronic lab notebook (ELN). Using an ELN can mean changes in how you lead your lab, including oversight of experiments and lab meetings; and preparation of grants and publications. Come hear how PIs have achieved this transition and enhanced their lab management.

4. Speaking Up and Giving Feedback: Mastering Conversations Up and Down the Ladder on Apr 11-

This interactive workshop will discuss the importance of speaking up across authority gradients, as well as giving effective receiver-focused feedback. An array of strategies and techniques will be taught and demonstrated. Using simulated cases, participants will have opportunities to practice these skills in a safe and supported environment.

The Harvard Catalyst Program for Faculty Development and Diversity Inclusion (PFDD) has announced its Faculty Fellowship Program, designed to address faculty need for additional support to conduct clinical and/or translational research, to free junior faculty from clinical and teaching demands at a key point in their career development, and to include salary support of $50,000 per year for two years.
