This umbrella organization addresses all aspects of faculty development, as well as, specializing on the clinical faculty through the Office for Clinical Careers (OCC), the research communities through the Office for Research Career Development (ORCD) and the women faculty through the Office for Women's Careers (OWC).

2. "Meet & Greet" Faculty Networking Breakfast with Dr. Suzanne Koven on May 23-
    Faculty Development Seminar: Networking Series
    Sponsored by the Office for Women's Careers

This “Meet and Greet” series is an opportunity to meet a distinguished faculty member and hear about her career path in academic medicine. Join the Office for Women's Careers to network with special guest Dr. Suzanne Koven and your MGH colleagues.

Dr. Koven has practiced primary care internal medicine at MGH for over 25 years, and in 2015 she was appointed Writer in Residence in the MGH Division of General Internal Medicine. Her writing has appeared in NEJM, JAMA, the Boston Globe, STAT, The New Yorker and many other publications. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Koven speaks on a variety of topics related to writing and patient care.

Seminars for faculty with HMS academic appointments.

The annual Academic Career Advancement Series (ACAS) helps MGH faculty better understand the process of academic advancement and promotion. Plan to come and hear how to get promoted! Each panel will feature an MGH faculty from department leadership, a recently promoted faculty colleague, and a representative from the HMS Office for Faculty Affairs.
